Eph 6:10  "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." 

The first and last thing on your mind needs to be resting in the Lord's strength. His might in surrounding you and flowing into you is the beginning and end of what you need. He is the alpha and omega, creator and sustain-er  of all things. 

In order to be protected against the attacks of evil in this world you need the protection of God. You can't stand on your own! These evil spirits and rebellious angels don't fight fair. They use false claims, dark promises and claim illegitimate authority. 

Eph 6:11, 12  "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." 

So take up all the protection of walking in the presence of God. You need to take hold of God and abide in Him then after you have put yourself fully in His hands you will be able to stand. 

Eph 6:13  "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm." 

Here are the weapons of God that will keep you focused in the midst of the battle. Place truth around yourself at all times, don't hold onto things that are false. As you move forward always focus on what is right and pure. Walk into the battle with peace in your heart and minister peace to those you encounter. People aren't your enemy, the liar and destroyer is the real enemy. In everything you do walk in faith and cover your head with thoughts of the salvation Jesus has accomplished for you. If your going to try to slay and conquer remember that it is the Spirit of God who must carry the fight. His Word is able to accomplish what He purposes. 


Heb 4:9-13  "So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.  For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account."

If you are going to wield His Word make sure it is done with consulting Him asking for all grace and truth to be spoken through you as an instrument in His hands. 


Eph 6:14-18  "Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication." 

To that end of being used mightily by God stay alert and persevere, always seeking God. Share with one another you needs, your desires and struggles so you can be encouraged and you can encourage others. 

Eph 6:18-22 "To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,  for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything.  I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts." 

Peace and love that comes from faith be with you. God is Love. He is Absolute Love. His love is pure and incorruptible poured out to you by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 6:23, 24  "Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible."
