Heb 12:3  "Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted."

Isa 53:2-11  "For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.  He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned--every one--to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.  By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities."
The call of God is a call to likeness of Jesus Christ, Isa Al Masih, Yeshua Messiah, in His struggle against sin, mine not His, He shed His blood on my behalf. He is Absolute Love.

Heb 12:4  "In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood."

It is always a struggle to go the distance. If you are going to win the prize and share in the glory you have to endure the discipline of training. If the coach was ignoring you you wouldn't be one of the players, you wouldn't be in the race or part of the game.

Heb 12:5, 6  "And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives."

As it is this struggle, this discipline, this suffering legitimizes that you are God's child. All is working together for good, in order that we might share in the holiness. So don't act as though you are being punished, or waste time complaining about how difficult the training is, this is for your spiritual health. It is so you won't fall down or suffer a debilitating injury. You gain the prize of God's loving presence without becoming like His Son, Jesus.
Don't despair He is accomplishing all of this in you by His mercy, grace and Absolute Love.

Heb 12:7-14  "It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?  If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?  For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." "Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed."  "Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord."

Rom 8:26-32  "Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? "
While training learn how to work hard and rest in the strength of God all at the same time!

Php 2:12, 13  "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure."
