Heb 11:7  "By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith."

Noah is an example of faith that leads to obedience. Noah is an example of the faithfulness of God. The promise of the curse is to be lifted coming not through the will of man, it is from the promise and faithfulness of God. He is Absolute Love.

Gen 5:28,29  "When Lamech had lived 182 years, he fathered a son and called his name Noah, saying, "Out of the ground that the LORD has cursed this one shall bring us relief from our work and from the painful toil of our hands."
Joh 1:12,13  "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God."
The favor of God was granted to Noah, the favor of God was a gift. All were guilty, evil and evil intentions and thoughts were continuous. Yet Noah was given grace.
Gen 6:5-8  "The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.  So the LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them."  But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD."

Grace was received through faith. Noah believed God would destroy mankind. Noah saw the evil and wickedness of man. Noah by faith spent years and years building a large boat and gathering the animals. Believing God, Noah was humbly obedient. Have you endured for a long time, waiting on God?  No one now knows what it is to wait on the Lord for six hundred years. .

Gen Gen 7:5,6  "And Noah did all that the LORD had commanded him. Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth."

We are the instant gratification generation.

Isa 30:18  "Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him."
Isa 40:28-31  "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;  but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
Isa 64:4  "From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him."
