#revelation #endtimes

To understand the message of the Yeshua the Messiahs' coming in the New Testament one must read in light of the Tanakh (Old Testament). All of the authors of the New Testament (Injeel) were worshipers of YHWH, they were taught in the synagogue and followed The Lord, God. They were all Israelites, of the house of Judah. When they went out to tell of the coming of Messiah (Yeshua, Isa, Jesus) they went directly to the synagogues because it was a message first to the worshipers found there, those looking for the coming promised Messiah.  All the New Testament including Revelation quotes from and draws interpretation from the Tanakh.

"...Indeed, Revelation is a virtual recapitulation of Ezekiel, from the four living creatures (Ezekiel 1/Revelation 4) to the mark on the foreheads of the saints (Ezekiel 9/Revelation 7); from the eating of the scroll (Ezekiel 3/Revelation 10) to the measuring of the temple (Ezekiel 40/Revelation 11); from Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38/Revelation 20) to the river of the water of life (Ezekiel 47/Revelation 22). And even that but scratches the surface. A sunday School child with Bible in hand can find a hundred more parallels on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Nowhere are the parallels more poignant than in Ezekiel 16 and Revelation 17- sequentially linked and memorable" Hank Hanegraaf

For John and the rest of the followers of Jesus Christ all Jews, were declaring that Israel again had laid aside worship of YHWH, Absolute Love, gotten in bed with foreign idol worshipers and governments. This time they played the harlot with Rome, as the people of God had before with surrounding nations in Ezekiels day, in the days of captivity.

So what of Israel?; has it been discarded? No! Read Romans 9 - 11. God has an amazing plan and purpose in the current drawing in of all nations, peoples, tribes and tongues.

Paul the Jewish leader teaches us of Gods grand purpose, His Absolute Love.

Rom 9:30-32 "What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone,"

YHWH will have His name worshiped, His Absolute Love known in every place, by all people.

Rom 10:12-13 "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

The Absolute Love has not forsaken His people.

Rom 11:1

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin.

Absolute Love is an expanding love an overflowing love. To all peoples, Arabs and Israelites, Iranians and Americans.

Rom 11:11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous.

Amazing love, Unfailing love, Absolute love.

Rom 11:28-36 "As regards the gospel, they are enemies of God for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.  For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience,  so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy. For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!  "For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?"  "Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?" For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen."
