#revelation #endtimes

Rev 15:5 "After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent of witness in heaven was opened, and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished."

In the inter advent period the sanctuary, the inner room of the temple is now in heaven. The throne room of the Absolute Love is in the hearts of believers, guarded by the Holy Spirit to see us through the schemes of the dragon and the beast.

Josephus the Jewish historian who was captured by Vaspasian and a witness to all the events of the Roman occupation and anihilation of Israel which lasted for seven years culminating with the leveling of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD, records the strange happenings in the sky and the land just prior to and during the time of the war.

Josephus records the increase of earthquake activity with the ground quaking, a star shaped constellation was seen as positioned and standing over Jerusalem. A bright light, a glow seemed to set itself over the holy of holies in the temple court so that no one dared to enter. In AD 62 the Roman city of Pompeii was leveled by an earthquake, a city that had been set up as a worship center to the Roman gods of whom the ceasars were included. Nero set up a temple to himself there and in Rome. In AD 64 Haleys comet appeared in the sky across the empire. This was the beginning of the three and one half years of severe tribulation, Rome was nearly burned to the ground and Nero set a special edict that Christianity was illegal and Christians were to be hunted down and executed. Haleys comet again passes by in AD 68 Nero is under such pressure being pressed with rebellion throughout the empire and being sought to be assasinated from within. Nero in AD 68 flees and commits suicide. Vaspasian as the foremost General of the Roman legions is called away from the battles in Israel to take over as leader. This the last of ceasars from the line of Julius are displaced by the military rulers starting with Vaspasian. Titus his son continues the brutal war ending with the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70.
You can read about some of these phenomena in: "The Last Days According to Jesus; Sproul, R. C. ; Baker Books 1998.

Jesus, Yeshua, Isa, He is the absolute love, the fulfillment of the law, the perfect high priest. He lovingly is making intercession before the throne for us.

Heb 7:11 "Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron? For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well. For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life. For it is witnessed of him, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek." For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness. (for the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God. And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath, but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever.'" This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant. The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever.Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself."
