Jas 5:13-20 "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins."

"If you are suffering in any way and you don't know what direction to go, seek God in prayer. If you are happy and all is going well sing praises to God giving Him credit. If you are weak in your faith don't languish about by yourself, call the shepherds, those appointed to watch over your faith, let them pray over you and care for you by pouring oil and anointing you, in the Name of the LORD; and their faithful prayers will give you a restoration from your weariness, and the strength of the LORD will again raise you up to a sense of fullness and forgiveness. So realize this, that faith is a matter we must sustain together and for one another. We need to pray for one another and confess our sins to one another, in order that we can be fully restored to one another if we have sinned. The kind of praying we need in the face of sin and weakness of faith is from Godly people, People like Elijah who prayed that it wouldn't rain and it didn't for over three years. And he prayed again and it did rain. So if any of you as beloved sheep are straying from the truth, not living by faith, another one of you is responsible to try to restore a faithful walk in that person. Remember if you turn someone away from sin you are involved in saving their soul and that act of love and concern and faith covers over many sins."
