1Pe 4:7  "The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers." 


Today the world around you could come crashing down. You might be hit by a bus or a bullet, you don't even know if you have another day. Jesus may catch you up to be with Him. Yes, even so come Lord. 
If this is really where your hope lies, don't get caught off guard, out of control. Put your mindset in a joyfully serious state, so your talks with God will bear fruit in your hearts and your actions towards others.
This is the most important thing in your life, that God's love shows through in how you interact in the world, you can cover over the mistakes and missteps of others by loving them. God is Love, He is Absolute Love. 


1Pe 4:8  "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." 


So be gracious in helping others in their needs. Don't grumble while you try to look charitable, your attitude shows your inner heart, you are not fooling anyone. At very least you are not fooling God. 
You are given such a gracious gift from God, invited openly to be His adopted child. Given all the gifts to blend in as one of the family. So as a steward of the family name, give honor to the name of God in how you act. I know you want to honor and glorify God as your Father, it is made possible because you are becoming like your big brother, He is Jesus Christ, Isa Al Masih, Yeshua Messiah, Yahweh. He is absolute love and you are His brothers and sisters. He is worthy of emulating and imitating Him as your role model demonstrates His worth to you. 
In any course His glory and honor and dominion is forever. You can't take it away, it eternally belongs to Him!


1Pe 4:9-11  "Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies--in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
