#Advent #endtimes

The second week of Advent is a focus upon love. This is most appropriate to fix our faiths' focus on hope last week and now on love. The only three abiding-lasting qualities of proven character. Faith, Hope and Love, but the greatest of these is love.

1Co 13 "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

Love s the glory of God, He is the Absolute Love. When Moses asked God to show him(Moses) His (Yahweh) glory. The answer was two fold.

First the LORD says; "My mercy-lovingkindness (Hesed) is Absolute, it is only determined by my will and power, I alone grant loving mercy!"

Exo 33:18-19 "Moses said, "Please show me your glory."And he said, "I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name 'The LORD.' And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy."

Second the Lord said: "Loving Kindness- Steadfast Love (Hesed) is my glory, a love that includes forgiveness and justice in a perfect harmony of pure, unadulterated, absolute love. An Absolute Love that overflows from God."

Exo 34:5-7 "The LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty,"

This is the love we celebrate that has brought salvation and forgiveness in the first advent (appearing) and that will fulfill justice at the second advent.
