Joh 20:2 "So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him."

Jesus was not in the tomb when the Mary went to visit the morning after Passover Sabbath. Mary ran to tell John and Peter they had no knowledge of Jesus body being taken from the tomb and they had not understood about His teaching, that He would rise from the dead.

His body preparations were there, but Jesus Body had escaped. He was fully raised, not merely spiritual but the man Jesus being fully man was in life and in death the man fully God. He was Yahweh, God incarnate and  the man Jesus raised bodily from the dead.

Joh 20:3 - 9 "So Peter went out with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there,  and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus' head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed;  for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

John and Peter could not comprehend, they went home trying to grasp through their grief what had happened.

Joh 20:10  "Then the disciples went back to their homes."

Yet Mary stayed weeping and grieving over the loss and confusion. Jesus Appeared suddenly with two messengers of God.

Jesus was there questioning in a way that was comforting, soothing her anxiety and bringing clarity to her confusion.

Joh 20:11 - 15 "But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. They said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him." Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away."

Jesus called her name. Mary! She realized that it was He. Jesus of Nazareth was there speaking to her.
She welcomed His presence and comfort, she recognized His place in her life. She said; "My Rabbi'!

Joh 20:16  "Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned and said to him in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher)."

Starting towards Jesus to feel His loving touch, He stopped her. "Do not cling to Me, I must go to The Father and return." "Tell the close followers that I Am is going to the Father, He is your Father. All of you belong to God and are part of God's family, you are My brothers and sisters."

She went and out of breath announced; "I have seen The LORD, Yahweh." "He is alive!" "He spoke to me!"

Joh 20:17, 18  "Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord"—and that he had said these things to her."

Yet that evening, on the day following the Passover Sabbath, Jesus' followers were gathered together. They were locked in and afraid of all that had happened. They were afraid of reprisal from the Jews. Rumors were already spreading that Jesus followers had stolen the body so that they could claim He was alive.

Jesus was suddenly right there in their midst, speaking; "I have come to give you peace in your hearts." Then He showed them His nail pierced hands and the place where the spear had been thrust into His side.

Joy and peace came with His presence.

Jesus said; "As Father God sent Me to you, I Am is sending you to go out and tell others of God's grace and mercy." "Go out and bring the message of My sacrifice and forgiveness." Tell others that God is Absolute Love."

Joh 20:19 - 21 "On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."  When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you."

Jesus breathed into them the Spirit of God. They now were the deliverers of God's message, spreading forgiveness or judgment as it was given and received by The Holy Spirit.

Joh 20:22, 23  "And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld."
