Exo 34:6-7 "The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty."           Absolute love is not unconditional love. Absolute love is sacrificial love in that it continually looks for the absolute best for us even in our rebellion. There are things that God hates. His absolute love is set against these things.                      Pro 6:16-19 "There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."        To love absolutely is to hate the things that are contrary to love.
