Psa 103:6-8 "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love."            The Lord is overflowing with steadfast love.                   Psa 103:13-18 "As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children, to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments."     There is a healthy fear, one that establishes peace not anxiety and stress. Obedience can be a dead lifeless capitulation to power, religious acts can be a deadly endeavor.  Absolute Love commands obedience that flows from Faith in His Absolute goodness.      Rom 1:2- 6 "...set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ,"             Even obedience that does not come from Faith is sinful.              Rom 14:23 "... For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin."              Let the nations praise Him, Let all the Earth Glorify His name!                 Rom 16:25-27 "Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith-- to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen."

Absolute Love wants the absolute best for you. The liar is the one who says; "does The Lord really hold all that is the absolutely best for you?"   The beginning of doubt and the first inkling to look for fulfillment elsewhere.            Faith is the gateway to living in the Absolute Love of The Lord.    1Jn 4:15-16 "Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him."         Absolute Love is completed by Faith and brings confidence, driving out fear.               1Jn 4:17-18 "By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."              Absolute Love initiates and completes this in us.           1Jn 4:19 "We love because he first loved us."

Religiousness can be a cold, prideful way of lifting yourself above and trampling on others.  In fact lots of things passed off as religious are from hearts that are deceived and perverted.               Jas 1:26 "If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless."     Absolute love brings about pure, undefiled religious activity. This religion cares for others, lifts up the weak, the needful, the ones that do not have a strong voice of their own.         
Jas 1:27 "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."           Absolute Love will wash out the stains!

Lust is not Love. Do you desire what will not pass away?          1Jn 2:15-17 "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world--the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions--is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."         Is it what you can own? Absolute Love owns all things.  Is it whatever your eyes are enticed by? Absolute Love is unseen. Is it whatever your body craves? This body will decay and go back to dust. Absolute Love embodies and gives life to all things.

Mat 11:27-30 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." To find peace and rest in Absolute Love you have to take upon yourself the "yoke" of obeying Jesus Christ. It is not unconditional love, but it is freely offered.
Absolute Love is Absolute in giving mercy and judgment.   From "God's Glory in Salvation Through Judgment" by James M. Hamilton Jr.   "Yet, Yahweh is pleased to show kindness and as he declared to Moses that he would show mercy to whomever he pleased (Ex. 33:19) He chooses to show mercy to one whose unworthiness underscores the riches of his grace. Thus the free, unconstrained mercy of God is displayed in all its glory, and the burning of Jericho makes the salvation of Rahab and her family more heavy with the weight of the glory of God."      We know little of this weight of the glory of God's Absolute Love because we have taken the judgment of Love lightly and replaced it with a love that is meaningless and powerless.

His absolute love is set against these things. God's love is not unconditional. It comes with commands. God is a loving parent. Parents give sacrificial love for sure. God is relational, no loving relationship lasts without boundaries. God's love is absolute.
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. God's Love is better than unconditional. Psa 33:5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

God is love! I John 4:8,16Grace and Mercy overflow from I AM. Grace and Mercy are God's prerogative. God's Grace and Mercy are not arbitrary they are absolute. They flow from the one who is absolute. I AM is Absolutely Love. Exo 33:18 Moses said, "Please show me your glory." Exo 33:19 And he said, "I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name 'The LORD.' And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.

Lev 19:11Hardly anyone reads the books of the laws and statutes of God's people, Leviticus. Yes, some of the ceremonial laws, sacrificial laws and purification laws have been eclipsed by the all encompassing life, death and resurrection of Christ. Yet, the intent of harmony, justice and truth contained, points forever to the absolute love of God. God is forever looking to pour favor on the least favorable people in this world of sickness and self elevation. The poor, the sojourner, the alien, widow and orphan are especially under the eye and care of the one who is absolute love. "You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.

Why do you do you do the things you do? Is it a reflection of Absolute Love?         Luk 14:12-24 He said also to the man who had invited him, "When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just." When one of those who reclined at table with him heard these things, he said to him, "Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!" But he said to him, "A man once gave a great banquet and invited many.  And at the time for the banquet he sent his servant to say to those who had been invited, 'Come, for everything is now ready.' But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said to him, 'I have bought a field, and I must go out and see it. Please have me excused.' And another said, 'I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to examine them. Please have me excused.'And another said, 'I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.' So the servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and said to his servant, 'Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor and crippled and blind and lame.' And the servant said, 'Sir, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.' And the master said to the servant, 'Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled. For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet.'"   It will take an innumerable amount of people who respond to fill the infinite expanse of God's Absolute Love! What are you waiting for, come to the banquet.

For those who are agnostic or atheistic, I can agree that religion can be dangerous and lots of bad things have been done in the name of various religions. Isn’t that just to say that human beings do terrible things to one another and to their environment? In other words, we have lost much of our ability to love. In turn, wouldn’t you agree that if we could find a common ground, an absolute, which would lend itself to better love one another, it would be a better world in which to live? After all, lots of warlords and political despots were also people who had no belief in
God or absolutes. Please take a brief walk toward contemplating absolute love and see if you agree. Whether you are #Muslim, #Jewish, #Christian, #agnostic, or #atheist, I think all would agree love is an absolute.

The importance of humility in handling revealed truth, and “speaking the truth in love” is a great caution for us to hold on to if we feel we know what God has revealed as truth. In our finitude and limited understanding (“now we know in part”—“we see through a glass dimly”), we can be far from the mark of the application God wants us to convey. Our understanding of situations is always limited (relative) to not knowing all of the circumstance. This includes all of our understanding of God, though it is reality revealed in His Word (The Bible); our understanding is limited in perspective. An example is the caution of James to “being quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.” Our anger, even if justified, is limited to our perspective. “All our righteousness is as filthy rags.” Therefore anger in us produces, more often than not, immoral or unrighteous results. Yet God can be angry and bring about righteousness. YHWH is Absolute Love.

Tyrannical governments and despotic rulers, whether under the name
of a so-called “god” or to make themselves to be god, are the wasteland of
human history. The carnage flows back to the fall and our eviction from
standing in the presence of I AM, the three in one. The loss of life, liberty,
and everlasting happiness is inevitably the result of separation from Him.
Thinking that I AM might be withholding some pleasure or benefit from
us, we seek to find benefit elsewhere. In seeking freedom from the creator,
the creature has become trapped in the prisons of our own making. There
is no absolute apart from Him. The inalienable rights of life, liberty, and
the pursuit of happiness being self-evident also evidence the purpose of I
AM in the way He created the world.

past obstacles to our own well-being and the well-being of others so that
we can peacefully work to overcome those obstacles and overthrow those
who are setting them up. The key characteristic of rest is peacefulness.

Justice is the characteristic outgrowth of believing that gives us the
ability to act rightly on behalf of God so that despots (those who want
to control, oppress, and use others for personal gain) are not allowed to
triumph and the defenseless are defended. The key characteristic of justice
is righteousness. The loss of justice brings about either apathy or being
overbearing (despotism).             "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.            Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.
